Learning to settle oneself, being calm and not contending is also a form of cultivation

In one’s life, there is too much noise and disturbance. Walking in the restless world, we are always eager to verify ourselves, compete for victory or defeat, compare ourselves, consume our energy in the entanglements of human relationships, and follow the crowd in the hustle and bustle of the world. In the end, we are physically and mentally exhausted, but we have nothing to gain.

A truly mature life is learning to settle oneself. Sedimentation is not passive laziness, nor is it about closing oneself off. It is about shedding the impetuous impulses of youth, learning to calm down and deeply cultivate oneself, sedimenting one’s state of mind, and sedimenting one’s experience. It is about accumulating strength in tranquility and growing slowly in solitude.

Being calm and not arguing is the highest level of transparency for adults. Do not argue with others about right and wrong, do not compete with the world for gains and losses, and do not follow the footsteps of others. Many disputes do not require explanation, many misunderstandings do not need clarification, and many regrets do not need to be tangled up. Time will give the answer.

Calm down, study hard, live well, and grow up well. Use the time wasted on comparison, indecision, and internal friction to enrich the heart and improve oneself. Quiet time, seemingly dull and tasteless, is actually the best opportunity for self reflection, transformation, and growth.

Life is full of troubles, only a calm heart can heal itself. Learn to settle down, be calm and composed in the face of things, and treat others calmly and gently. Don’t argue, don’t rush, cultivate your heart in tranquility, and wait patiently for the flowers to bloom in sedimentation. For the rest of my life, I will maintain a peaceful heart, enjoy a lifetime of peace, and slowly shine through the years.
