Slowly letting go is the best self-healing for adults

Slowly let go

In one’s life, there will always be unpleasant things, people who cannot be saved, and sudden regrets. Many times we feel exhausted, not because life is too difficult, but because we refuse to let go of ourselves, cling to past hurts and regrets, and repeatedly reminisce, leaving ourselves trapped in the same place and unable to move forward. Slowly letting go, not competing with the past, not making things difficult for oneself, is the most transparent way for adults to heal themselves.

Release is not about compromise or concession, but about gentle reconciliation with life. Since past grievances, missed emotions, and unfulfilled expectations cannot be changed, there is no need to dwell on them repeatedly. There is no chance to start over in life. Entangled with the past will only consume the present time, trap one’s footsteps, and learn to let go of regrets in order to free up the embrace and accept the tenderness and surprises of life.

Release is not only letting others go, but also fulfilling oneself. Many people are obsessed with right and wrong, entangled in debt, and always want a satisfactory answer, but life is never absolutely perfect, and regret is the norm of life. There is no need to inquire about the ending, no need to dwell on the past. Those who have taken detours, suffered grievances, and missed opportunities will eventually become the foundation for growth.

The true release is to silently look down upon it. No longer revisiting old memories, no longer experiencing emotional ups and downs over unworthy people and events, no longer self destructive and self tormenting. Slowly settle your mentality, underestimate gains and losses, underestimate separation, accept the impermanence of the world, allow everything to happen, stabilize your mentality in ordinary days, and live a good life.

The best state of life is to go with the flow of gains and losses, and to let go of everything. Life will not always go smoothly, and life will not be perfect step by step. Learn to let go of the past, look down on regrets, unload the burden in your heart, and move forward with light equipment. When you learn to reconcile with life, life will be gentle and your heart will be calm and composed.
